The Tristate Solar Alliance is a local nonprofit whose goal is to dramatically grow the adoption of solar in NY Metropolitan region by leveraging large volumes to lower the cost of installing solar on all buildings. Joining this group discount program will save your company money and make it easier for all of us to go solar.
1. What is the purpose of the TriState Solar Alliance (TSA)?
We want to make it easier and less expensive for everyone in our region to choose solar PV, so the overall market can grow. Market growth drives prices down and this volume moves us towards grid parity which is when solar electricity costs the same as fossil fuel electricity.
Together, as a collective of solar consumers, we will find the best possible deal, get all of our questions answered and develop financing options. It couldn't be easier!
The result will be ensuring the best value for solar purchasers while lowering the overhead costs of local installers and American PV manufacturers. This will benefit solar consumers, installers, and the local economy. (Caveat - although we'd like to help everyone, we understand this program will not benefit those in the oil or coal companies, but,.. maybe they'd prefer installing solar.)
2. Tell Me More About the TSA?
The TriState Solar Alliance is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, which is not affiliated with any solar company and does not have any corporate sponsors. We are 100% independent and we really love solar because it is the most viable renewable energy for our region and it makes sound economic sense.
Solar PV, with the great state and federal incentives which are currently available, is a safe investment with a guaranteed return of 15+%.
Furthermore, we will help ourselves if we spend our energy dollars locally. This will strengthen the NY economy and bring more money to local businesses (including yours).
